Event Description

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about.

Are you looking for your next Summer 2026 internship opportunity? Join the University Talent team in learning about Adobe’s innovative work in the fields of engineering, machine learning, and research. Hear from our technical experts and explore our top internship program that shapes careers.

We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours.

Speakers:

Holly Huey, Applied Scientist

Holly is an Applied Scientist on the Scientific Evaluation Team (Firefly), focusing on GenAI image and editing evaluations. She received her PhD in Experimental Psychology from UC San Diego in Aug 2024 and started full-time at Adobe in Jan 2025. Her dissertation research leveraged large-scale behavioral crowdsourcing methods to study visual communication — aka she studied how people make pictures (drawings, diagrams, and data visualizations) and now studies how GenAI models make pictures.

Francie McQuarrie, Machine Learning Engineer

Francie is a machine learning engineer in the Document Cloud at Adobe, utilizing LLMs to understand customer behavior and create new GenAI features for Adobe Acrobat. Prior to Adobe, Francie completed her Masters in Statistics from the University of Washington, Seattle, and her BA in Statistics and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Amika Mehta, Software Engineer

Amika works on the Acrobat Web team at Adobe, specializing in front-end development and releases. She has been with Adobe for about a year and ten months, starting her journey as an SDE intern. Amika is passionate about creating seamless web experiences that make an impact. When not coding, she enjoys playing badminton and exploring the outdoors on a good hike.
