Speakers: Holly Huey, Applied Scientist Holly is an Applied Scientist on the Scientific Evaluation Team (Firefly), focusing on GenAI image and editing evaluations. She received her PhD in Experimental Psychology from UC San Diego in Aug 2024 and started full-time at Adobe in Jan 2025. Her dissertation research leveraged large-scale behavioral crowdsourcing methods to study visual communication — aka she studied how people make pictures (drawings, diagrams, and data visualizations) and now studies how GenAI models make pictures. Francie McQuarrie, Machine Learning Engineer Francie is a machine learning engineer in the Document Cloud at Adobe, utilizing LLMs to understand customer behavior and create new GenAI features for Adobe Acrobat.
