Our AnitaB.org Mentorship programs are a swarm of activity, offering opportunities for both Mentees and Mentors to foster connections with other  technologists.

Commitment for Mentoring Circles AnitaBees: Join us every Fourth Wednesday of each month for a buzzing hour of collaboration.

Commitment for 1:1 Mentorships AnitaBees: Commit to a journey of 3 months, meeting twice a month for 1 hour each session.

Join the Bee Brigade in Your Local Community!

TIME COMMITMENT: ~1 hour a week/ 4 hours a month

Our Local Community AnitaBees are the busy bees collaborating with event coordinators and community managers to cultivate vibrant programs in their own neighborhoods.

Our hive boasts various roles on the Local Community Leadership Team, including Executive Leaders, Program/Event Managers, and Project Managers. Additionally, roles like Ambassadors make a significant impact, buzzing about spreading our mission. When you join us, we can determine together the role best for your time and schedule.

Local Community Volunteers

TIME COMMITMENT: ~1 hour a week / 4 hours a month

You will build up a community and work in tandem with our events team and the current volunteer leaders to organize events.

Volunteering could include:

• Connecting with people around the world through membership platform engagement
• Collaborating with the Event Coordinator to host cross-city events
• Collaborating with Community Manager to craft specific opportunities for your local community
• Identifying some ways to use funding to support the community

Our Advocacy AnitaBees play a vital role in advancing policies and initiatives that strengthen the tech ecosystem. In close collaboration with our Policy and Advocacy team, you'll engage in research, data analysis, and the development of recommendations on key issues impacting the field. Your contributions help shape a more equitable and forward-looking future in technology.

Advocacy AnitaBees

TIME COMMITMENT: ~1 hour a week / 4 hours a month

As an Advocacy AnitaBee, you will play a crucial role in advancing policies and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the technology sector. You will collaborate with the Policy and Advocacy team to research, analyze, and develop advocacy recommendations on various issues affecting women and nonbinary individuals in computing. Through your efforts, you will contribute to creating a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem.
