AnitaB.org Automatic Dues Renewal Service Terms and Conditions

For as long as you are enrolled in the AnitaB.org Automatic Dues Renewal (“ADR”) service and remain a member in good standing, you authorize AnitaB.org to charge your credit card each year for your annual AnitaB.org membership dues subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Membership Dues and Enrollment Requirements

Membership dues are subject to change by AnitaB.org. In order to use the ADR service, you must be an AnitaB.org member in good-standing. Members who enroll in the ADR service during their membership sign-up will be charged the full amount of their membership dues at that time. Thereafter, members will be charged the full amount of their membership dues once every year on the annual anniversary of their membership sign-up date. Charges will be made to the credit card provided upon enrollment.

Credit Card Billing and Electronic Notifications

AnitaB.org will charge the full amount of your membership dues to your credit card on file once every year on the annual anniversary of your membership sign-up date unless you notify us at least 48 hours prior to the end of the current membership year that you wish to cancel your ADR enrollment. Payment will be made by automatic credit card debit using a secure Merchant Payment Service. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date credit card information for the ADR service. You agree to promptly inform AnitaB.org of the following: (i) changes in the expiration date or account information of any credit card used in connection with the service; (ii) changes in email address, home or billing address; and (iii) apparent breaches of security, such as loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure or use of a User ID or password. Until AnitaB.org is notified, via email or by phone, of a breach in security, you will remain liable for any unauthorized use of the service.

On request, AnitaB.org shall provide you with copies of billing records that support charges for use of the service. By enrolling in the ADR service, you represent and warrant that you are the legal cardholder for this credit card, and that you are legally authorized to enter into a recurring billing agreement with AnitaB.org.

You shall not impersonate another person or use a false name or a name that you are not authorized to use, or create a false identity or origin or email address or try to mislead AnitaB.org or others as to identity or origin of any communications or to provide inaccurate or unreliable contact details. To the extent permitted by law, you agree that you will not dispute any charges from AnitaB.org unless you have already made an effort in good faith to rectify the situation directly with AnitaB.org, and those efforts have failed.

Electronic Notifications

By enrolling in the ADR service, you will receive email confirmations of enrollment in the ADR service, account information changes, and cancellation of the ADR service, all of which will be sent to the email address provided on your initial membership registration unless you subsequently update your email address through AnitaB.org member services. AnitaB.org will notify you by email at least fifteen (15) days in advance of any ADR charge. After the charge, you will receive notification by email of the payment status. In the event of a charging failure or exception, you will be notified by email of the reason for failure. After two charging failures or exceptions, AnitaB.org reserves the right to terminate your participation in the ADR service and bill you directly by invoice for annual membership dues. You may at any time request an account history of charges made during your enrollment in the ADR service. Requests must be made directly to AnitaB.org. To contact AnitaB.org, refer to the contact information at the end of this document.

Cancellation and Refunds

You or AnitaB.org may cancel your enrollment in the ADR service at any time by providing notice to the other party. You can provide notice to AnitaB.org of your intent to cancel your ADR enrollment by contacting AnitaB.org by email or by phone at (800) 544-8755 / +1 (650) 352-7500 . Any notices from AnitaB.org will be delivered to your email address on file in our member database. In order to avoid ADR charges for your upcoming membership year, cancellation must be made at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the end of the current membership year if that year has been paid in full. If you elect not to renew your AnitaB.org membership or if you elect to change to a lower-priced membership status after your credit card has been charged but before your current membership year has expired, AnitaB.org will not refund to you any charges. Refunds will not be provided. If you request cancellation from AnitaB.org or your bank card issuer because of unauthorized or fraudulent use, AnitaB.org may, at its discretion and in order to prevent further unauthorized use, block access to the AnitaB.org ADR service. This will not prevent unauthorized use at any other websites.

Security

AnitaB.org uses a third-party secure credit card billing provider for all ADR charges. The information which the provider receives during ADR transactions is only maintained during payment processing – your credit card number remains confidential on AnitaB.org’s secure server. AnitaB.org will not release your username or password for any reason to anyone other than you, except as may be specifically required by law.

The ADR service is governed by AnitaB.org’s Privacy Policy. If there is any breach of security, theft, loss of, or unauthorized disclosure of your username or password, you agree to immediately notify AnitaB.org. You will remain liable for unauthorized use of the ADR service until AnitaB.org is notified of the security breach by phone or email.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnitaB.org, its officers, directors, employees, and licensors in respect of any loss that it or they may suffer as a result, directly or indirectly, of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.
